Additional Inspection Services

Pre-Listing Inspection
An inspection service for home sellers, a pre-listing inspection will reveal the entirety of a home’s condition before it’s placed on the local market. This does two key things: it makes it possible to keep prospective buyers better informed and it gives you a chance to make repairs before the home is shown, so that the buyer’s inspections don’t find issues that may negatively affect the outcome of negotiations.

Re-inspections
If your initial inspection highlighted any repairs that the seller needed to address, this reinspection, would be conducted prior to the closing to make sure that any area of concern was taken care of according to your agreement; giving you piece of mind.

Home Maintenance Inspection
Your home maintenance inspection is about keeping you informed. For this service, we conduct a full inspection of your property that gives us a clear idea of what needs work. From worn-out fixtures to structural weaknesses, we can point out the home’s existing issues, so you can develop a plan to maintain your home and help keep it safe and comfortable for years to come.

Water Testing
Your water quality is important and water testing offers peace of mind for you and your family. Samples can be taken of your water, weather it is city water or water from a private well, and sent to a lab to be analyzed for potential contaminants such lead and other heavy metals, e. coli, chlorine, nitrates, and uranium.

Annual Maintenance Inspection

Mold Inspection
Mold is found everywhere, however, if moisture is present, mold can grow right under your nose. If you can smell it, then it is already reproducing at an alarming rate. We can test the air inside your home to see if the mold spore count is out of control before it is too late. If we find signs of mold, we can take samples and have them analyzed to know for sure. Knowing your mold spore count gives you the upper hand in keeping your family safe.

Radon Inspections
An invisible and odorless gas with radioactive properties, radon has been linked to numerous health ailments and is the second leading cause of lung cancer behind smoking. Because the gas is so elusive, it’s important to bring in a professional to have a home tested for radon contamination. We’re able to do the job right, using specialized equipment to test the home, while returning the results of the test back to you in a timely manner.

Septic Inspections
Our septic tank inspection service will evaluate your prospective home’s septic system for signs of damage and assess maintenance needs. The most common issue with these systems relates to the drain field, which can become contaminated and blocked. A functioning septic system is critical to a property’s cleanliness and safety, and every homebuyer should consider scheduling this inspection before agreeing to terms with the seller of the home.

Well Equipment Inspections
Well systems are the primary delivery method for homes with a private water supply. A Well System consists of a well casing, water lines, a pump, and water or air tank. Homes with private well systems should have these components inspected before purchasing a home to ensure there is an adequate water supply. Our well equipment inspection will determine the operational condition of your well system.
